Story Telling

History is a narrative that tells a version of events that happened in the past. Historians spend their days unravelling the truth from the fiction but much is lost to time.

Of course sometimes the fiction itself can tell us as much about the truth as the facts themselves.

Stories have been told for as long as humans have had the ability to communicate and evidence shows that we have been sharing tales for at least  30,000 years.

We continue that tradition with a selection of new tales based on earlier stories. All written from scratch either abridging longer tales (Beowulf), expanding on shorter stories (The Knucker) or altering them to make a narrative structure more familiar to modern audiences (Bevis the Giant)
